The last two weeks of camp were pretty good. I'm not going to go into much detail. On the Saturday at the end of session 7 a few of us swam back to the mainland, which is about 1 mile. It took me 42 minutes - a lot of fun! Anyways, mom, Philip, and my cousins were there that day and they stayed through the next week at a campground. Two of my cousins, Laura and Susanna went to camp session 8 and my family was able to come out to the island on Wednesday night. The last day of camp we shut down the island before 5pm - it ran very smoothly. We had our banquet that night at the Italian Bistro in Gloversville. It was very nice and tasty! :) I flew home the next afternoon (Sunday) and got home around 11pm that night and started school the next morning.
And that concludes my summer at Tapawingo - I hope to go back next summer!
